Certifications

We work to European standards and ISO certification, with regular audits that safeguard our design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance processes.

Our certifications

Four references that back the way we work.

ISO 9001:2015 Certificate — TÜV Rheinland Quality management

ISO 9001:2015 — TÜV Rheinland

Certification of our quality management system, audited by TÜV Rheinland. It guarantees documented processes, material traceability and continuous improvement in every project we carry out.

CE marking

EN 1090-1

Standard governing the conformity assessment of the characteristics of structural steel and aluminium components, a prerequisite for the CE marking of structural steel.

Technical requirements

EN 1090-2

Sets out the technical execution requirements for steel structures: materials, welding, installation, tolerances and quality control throughout fabrication.

Execution class

EN 1090 Ex3

Certification corresponding to execution class EXC3, required for structures subject to high loads or environments that are especially demanding in terms of structural safety.

What are certifications and what are they for?

A certification is recognition, issued by an independent body, that a company or product meets a recognised standard. Declaring it is not enough: an external auditor checks it, and checks it again every year.

Demonstrable quality

Documented, controlled processes at every stage, so results are repeatable and do not depend on individuals or on the day.

Regulatory compliance and CE marking

Steel and aluminium structures sold in Europe need CE marking, and for that the manufacturer must be certified to the EN 1090 standard.

Full traceability

Every material, weld and inspection is recorded, so it is always possible to know what was built, from what, and who verified it.

Continuous improvement

Regular audits require processes to be reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis.

Frequently asked questions

It is the international standard for quality management systems. It certifies that a company has defined, controlled processes geared to continuous improvement. In our case it is certified by TÜV Rheinland.

It is the declaration that a manufactured structure meets European safety requirements. For steel and aluminium structures it is obtained by manufacturing under the EN 1090 standard, whose part 1 assesses conformity and whose part 2 sets the technical execution requirements.

EN 1090 defines four execution classes, EXC1 to EXC4, according to the consequences of a possible structural failure. EXC3 applies to structures with high safety requirements, such as those under heavy loads or in demanding environments, and calls for stricter welding controls and traceability.
