Metal fabrication for generation and process facilities
The energy sector demands equipment that operates reliably for thousands of hours under extreme pressure, temperature and thermal cycling conditions. At Talleres ECI we manufacture the metal components that form part of these installations: from storage tanks and accumulators to support structures for critical equipment.
We work both for conventional generation facilities (cogeneration, biomass) and for hydroelectric plants, nuclear plants and wind energy, as well as for the maintenance of operating plants during scheduled shutdowns.
Applications in the energy sector
- Fuel and storage tanks
- Industrial heat exchangers
- Steam headers and distributors
- Support structures for process equipment
- Turbine maintenance platforms
- High-pressure and high-temperature piping
- Silos and hoppers for biomass and pellets
- Structures for solar panels and trackers
- Spare parts for plant shutdowns
- Repair and recertification of vessels

Why choose Talleres ECI
Certified fabrication
Welders qualified to EN ISO 9606. Materials with 3.1 certification. Complete technical documentation with every delivery.
Shutdown response
Ability to manufacture critical parts on urgent timescales to minimise plant downtime.
High temperature and pressure
Experience with materials and welding for high-temperature service: P91, P22 steels, austenitic stainless steels.
Boilermaking for the energy sector
Yes. We work with low-alloy high-temperature steels (P11, P22, P91) and austenitic stainless steels (321, 347). Welding these materials requires preheating, interpass temperature control and post-weld heat treatment, which we carry out with the appropriate equipment and records.
Yes, this is one of our common scenarios in the energy sector. We plan the scope of work in advance, prepare materials and spare parts in our workshop before the shutdown, and carry out the installation or repair within the available time with the necessary installation team.
We apply the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU), EN 13445 for unfired pressure vessels, EN 13480 for industrial piping and AD 2000 when required by the client. For installations with hazardous fluids we work with notified bodies for the corresponding certification.
