Heavy industry demands structures and equipment with high strength, significant dimensions and resistance to wear and impact. At Talleres ECI we have the infrastructure, welding equipment and workforce to take on large-format boilermaking and metal construction projects.
We regularly work with high-strength structural steels (S355, S460), wear-resistant steels (Hardox, Quard) and heavy-gauge plate, using high-productivity MAG welding and non-destructive testing where the project requires it.
Our transport and installation capability allows us to manage large parts and subassemblies, coordinating final assembly at the client's plant with lifting equipment suited to each project.

Fabrication for heavy industry
Yes. We regularly work with wear-resistant steels such as Hardox 400, 450 and 500 for high abrasive-wear applications (hoppers, chutes, ramps, hoppers). These steels require specific welding techniques (preheating, low-hydrogen consumables) that our team knows and applies correctly.
Yes, we manage the transport of large-format parts and structures through carriers specialised in oversized loads. For parts that exceed standard transport dimensions, we design the structure so it can be manufactured in subassemblies and assembled on site with the minimum number of field joints.
Yes. Repairs to structures at heavy-industry plants are one of our common jobs: reinforcing damaged beams or columns, replacing corroded plate, welding cracks in structures in service. We work with the required safety permits and plan the intervention to minimise the impact on production.
